Our
Power For Abundant Living

Since the end of the Book of Acts, many Christians have been unaware that there is still power available to them in everyday living.  Yet the promise of Jesus Christ in John 10:10 is that he came so his followers “might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”  How can Christians learn to manifest this power for abundant living?

We must be taught basic keys to tap into the power promised by the Word of God.  There are three things we have to know to in order to live the more abundant life:  we have to know what is available to us; we have to know how to receive the spiritual things of God; we have to know what to do with these spiritual things after we have received them.

This year in our teaching ministry we are focusing in on our Power for Abundant Living (Our PFAL) to learn more about the power of God that’s available to born-again believers.  And as we increase our understanding of that power and walk out on the truth concerning this power, we can expect to see this more abundant life in our personal walks.

When someone confesses Jesus as lord and believes in his heart that God raised him from the dead, he receives the gift of holy spirit and eternal life.  And there is even more to receive!  The Word of God plainly teaches that there is an act of receiving the holy spirit into manifestation.  And the primary purpose of receiving the holy spirit into manifestation is to give us power for abundant living.

There is potential power in the water of Niagara Falls, but it is unbridled power unless the great dynamos convert it into usable energy.  If we use our God-given spiritual abilities, we shall receive into manifestation His power from above, as God’s ability is released by us.  The gift of holy spirit is given that through God’s mighty power and by His spiritual help we may grow to be more like Christ.
