Once you choose a particular video—whether you’re using a
high speed or low speed connection—the video will begin to play
as soon as enough "buffer data" has been downloaded. With
fast Internet connections, you could begin to see the video playing
in about 10-30 seconds. With slower connections or
when the Internet is busy, it is common for this downloading process
to take a minute or even several minutes.
If you find that the video "stops and starts" while you’re
viewing it, it’s because the data being downloaded fails to stay
ahead of what you’re viewing. If you simply let the video
play out to the end—stopping and starting on its own—this will allow
the downloading process to be completed. After that, the
information will be available in your computer memory (until the
computer is restarted or the memory is needed for something else)
and may be viewed over and over in its entirety (with no stops and
starts) when you click the play button. Enjoy !
