The Joy of FELLOWSHIP
|
Acts 2:42:
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’
doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

First and foremost,
we each enjoy the fellowship with our heavenly Father. Then
in God’s household we enjoy the fellowship of one another as faithful
followers of our Lord Jesus Christ who are eager to stand with resolve,
ready to help one another, ready to pray with and for one another, and ready
to prevail with power from on high
|
|
The Way International is primarily a home fellowship ministry.
The Book of Acts shows how the central location for
the fellowship of God’s people moved from the Temple in the Old
Testament to the tender and edifying environment of the home in the New
Testament.

Acts 16:32:
And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to ALL THAT WERE IN HIS HOUSE.
Acts 20:20:
And how I kept back nothing that
was profitable unto you, but have
shewed you, and have taught you publickly, AND FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE.
I Corinthians 16:19:
The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much
in the Lord, with THE CHURCH THAT IS IN THEIR HOUSE.

These fellowships in the home include an inspiring and positive teaching from the
Bible, words of edification and comfort, prayer, singing, and a joyful sharing of
abundance, resulting in Word-centered, like-minded believing in a broad
range of activities.
