“In our walk as ambassadors for Christ, we’re always on the lookout to make sure we are putting truth on in our mind and exposing ourselves to that….Over time, that exposure to things that the adversary might be throwing [at us] can wear us down. So, we do want to step away from that.”
In this episode, Lauren Schiano interviews Aaron Morphy about having integrity online, especially on social media, including ways we can speak the truth of God’s Word in love on these platforms. Aaron, who has a master’s degree in cybersecurity, gives unique insight into topics like internet safety, ideas for sharing God’s Word online, consideration for others online, and ways to combat sensationalism and polarizing content. He also explains several ways the internet is designed to draw users in, and ways we can, instead of getting pulled into endless scrolling, make the most of our time for God. While the internet has many pitfalls, it can certainly be used as a tool for positivity that believers can make the most of. Even online, we can bring the light of God’s Word and His integrity to others!
