But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Genesis 39:20,21:
And Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners
were bound: and he was there in the prison.
But the Lord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour
[grace] in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

And the Lord said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.

Proverbs 3:1-4:
My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour
[grace] and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Luke 1:30:
And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour
[grace] with God.

[grace] with God and man.

I Corinthians 15:10:
But by the grace of God I
[Paul] am what I am: and his [God’s] grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

II Corinthians 12:9:
And he
[the Lord] said unto me [Paul], My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

God’s Grace to Mankind

Psalms 84:11:
For the Lord God
is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

John 1:14,16,17:
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
For the law was given by Moses,
but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:23,24:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Being justified freely by his
[God’s] grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Romans 5:2:
By whom
[Jesus Christ] also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 5:15,17,21:
But not as the offence, so also
is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:1,14,15:
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Romans 11:6:
And if by grace, then
is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

And God
is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.

Ephesians 1:6,7:
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
In whom we have redemption through his
[Jesus Christ’s] blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his [God’s] grace.

Ephesians 2:4,5,7,8:
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved).
That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in
his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God.

Hebrews 4:16:
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 12:15:
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble
you, and thereby many be defiled.

God’s People Extending His Grace to Others

Acts 2:46,47:
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Praising God, and having favour
[sharing grace] with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Ephesians 4:29:
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Let your speech
be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

As every man hath received the gift,
even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
