Ambassadors of the Way

  1. spend at least 30 minutes each morning reading the Word and praying;
  2. are in bed by midnight and up by 7:00 a.m. each day;
  3. work a secular job 20 to 30 hours per week (a head of a household can work up to 40 hours, if needed, to support their family);
  4. spend at least 30 hours per week witnessing and/or undershepherding;
  5. take one day off from work and structured outreach each week;
  6. attend family meetings to build unity and mutual believing;
  7. present themselves (clothing, cleanliness, etc.) in the local community in a manner befitting Way Ambassadors;
  8. remain in the assigned area for the duration of the program and keep the same marital status during that time;
  9. endeavor to operate the principle of two by two.

The outreach program is available to those who

  • are graduates of the Intermediate Class;
  • are at least 18 years old and a high school graduate (or have a GED) by the start date of the program;
  • are debt-free or have financial obligations on hold or covered during the entire tenure of the program;
  • have a minimum of US$1,400 per adult and US$450 per child;
  • complete a 500- to 750-word essay describing (a) their spiritual goals and (b) how they expect to contribute as a Way Ambassador.
